Refund Policy

Thank you for registering for a ‘Barking Mad Event’. Please read our refund policy carefully before purchasing a ticket.

  1. All Sales Are Final
    All ticket sales are non-refundable.
    We cannot offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to;
    - Personal scheduling conflicts
    - Illness or injury
    - Weather conditions
    - Travel issues
    - Event changes or modifications
     

  2. Ancillary Services & Add-ons
    All ancillary services and add-ons purchased in connection with an event—including, but not limited to, camping pitches, car parking, or other additional event services—are strictly non-refundable.
    Unlike standard tickets, these ancillary services cannot be exchanged for vouchers. However, they
    may be transferred to another participant who already holds a confirmed, active booking for the same event. It is the responsibility of the original purchaser to arrange the transfer and notify us at info@barkingmadevents.com at least 14 days prior to the event date.
     

  3. Ticket Transfers
    Ticket transfers, either in the form of a voucher or a participant name change, are permitted upon request up to 14 days before the event date. To request a transfer, please contact us at info@barkingmadevents.com and submit either a 'Request a Ticket Transfer' or 'Request a Transfer of Name'. An administration fee may apply, and all requests are subject to approval by the event organiser.
     

  4. Event Cancellation
    In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (such as extreme weather, natural disaster, pandemic related restrictions, etc.), we will:
    - Make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event, OR
    - Offer a partial refund or voucher for a future event, at the discretion of the organisers.

     

  5. No-Show Policy
    No refunds, credits, or deferrals will be given for participants who do not attend the event or fail to utilise purchased ancillary services (e.g., unused camping pitches or parking spaces).
     

  6. Online Store Policy
    Products sold online in ‘Shop’ at www.barkingmadevents.com adheres to the following refund policy:

    3rd Party Products: 
    We do not offer refunds directly. All refund requests must be handled through the product manufacturer, in accordance with their policies. Please contact the manufacturer for assistance with refunds or exchanges. Once your order is placed, we send a confirmation to the manufacturer, who handles all shipping and delivery. Shipping times and tracking information are provided by the manufacturer and may vary based on their policies.

Terms and Conditions 

By purchasing a ticket, booking ancillary services, and participating in a ‘Barking Mad Event’, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Assumption of Risk
    Participation in a running event and the utilisation of event amenities (including onsite camping and parking) involves inherent risks of injury, illness, property damage, or death. By registering and booking, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and the use of all event facilities.
     

  2. Health and Fitness
    You certify that you are physically fit and have sufficiently trained to participate in this event. You agree not to participate if you are ill, injured, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
     

  3. Medical Treatment
    You authorize event officials to provide medical treatment as deemed necessary. You waive and release any and all claims against event staff, sponsors and volunteers arising from medical treatment or emergency care.
     

  4. Event Modifications
    The organisers reserve the right to modify the event (course, schedule, location) or alter ancillary arrangements (such as camping layouts or parking zones) due to safety concerns, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
     

  5. Photography and Media Release
    By attending, you grant permissions for the use of your image, likeness, and voice in any photographs, videos, or media coverage of the event (including camping and communal areas), without compensation.
     

  6. Code of Conduct
    All participants must follow the instructions of race officials, site wardens and volunteers. You must behave respectfully toward others, maintain the safety of the site, and avoid obstructing or endangering fellow runners or campers.
     

  7. Liability Waiver
    You agree to release and hold harmless ‘Barking Mad Events’, its sponsors, staff, affiliates, and volunteers from any liability, claims, or damages arising from you participation in the event or your use of any ancillary services (including, but not limited to, parking and camping facilities).
